FCCLA competed in the State Leadership Conference on April 6-9 in Dallas.
Emma DeRise competed in Career Investigation and took 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞, which advanced her to Nationals in San Diego, CA.
Cinthia Rios & Sarai Velazquez received Evaluator's Choice in their Spotlight on Projects display.
Asiya Durham and Shannon Locke competed in Entrepreneurship and fell short of top 5, but 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝟕𝐭𝐡 in the top 20 in the state.

BASEBALL: Due to poor field conditions on both away and home fields, tomorrows game against Mount Enterprise will be played in Shelbyville with a start time of 6 pm.
SOFTBALL: The Home game against Timpson, scheduled for 4/15, has been moved to Nacogdoches Softball field on Thursday 14th at 4:30 pm due to field conditions.

BASEBALL/SOFTBALL : Due to conflicts with the Area Track Meet on the 12th, both baseball and softball games have been rescheduled for Monday the 11th.
The softball game will be played in Garrison starting at 5:00.
The baseball game will be played in Joaquin starting at either 4:30 pm or 6:30 pm, dependent on the weather. The starting time will be announced Monday as soon as the weather permits.

TRACK: Attached is the schedule of events for the District Track Finals held at Shelbyville ISD on April 7, 2020.
The Area Meet will be held April 12th at Shelbyville ISD, the schedule will be released upon completion of the District Meet.

The non-district baseball game scheduled for April 16th against Broaddus has been canceled.

REMINDER: The English 1 (9th grade students) STAAR EOC will be tomorrow, April 5th, 2022. It is very important for your student to have a good night's rest, eat a healthy breakfast at home or in the cafeteria, and be on time for school! Testing will begin 1st period! By working together we can make your child's test experience both positive and successful.

Those who are approved may qualify for other benefits, such as P-EBT benefits. This is contingent on the State of Texas offering P-EBT benefits for the upcoming summer 2022, but you WILL NOT qualify if you DO NOT have an approved application or are already participating in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).
This will also help us determine our rollover for the 2022-2023 school year. If you think you may qualify for P-EBT benefits for summer 2022, the application MUST BE COMPLETED by TOMORROW, Tuesday April 5, 2022.
