Emma DeRise
What has been your most memorable moment during high school at Martinsville ISD?
My most memorable moment was when we moved Mr. Perry’s entire room over to the music room with Iris and my sister within the span of a night.
What clubs/activities/sports have you been involved in?
Family, Career, Community, Leaders of America (4 years)
Christians in Action (4 years)
One Act Play (4 years)
National Honor Society (3 years)
Cheerleading (4 years)
Student Council (2 years)
What are your plans after graduation?
I plan to attend Stephen F. Austin and major in Pre-Med/Biology. Afterwards, go to Med School and eventually become an OB/GYN.
Who in your life would you like to thank for helping you get this far?
My parents, my friends (specifically Madi, Cinthia, and Iris), and some super special teachers-Mr. Perry, Chad, Candra, Mrs. Nichols, Mrs. Adams, Mrs. Roni, and Mrs. Ryan.

What has been your most memorable moment during high school at Martinsville ISD?
When all of my friends and I were able to go up to the ag shop to eat food that they had made.
What clubs/activities/sports have you been involved in?
FFA, FCCLA, Theater, CIA
What are your plans after graduation?
I plan to attend Angelina College in the fall to purse Nursing.
Who in your life would you like to thank for helping you get this far?
I would like to thank my parents and my best friend Erin Wilson. She has helped me through a lot.

My most memorable moment has been participating in One Act Play.

I plan to attend Panola College.

Micheal Adams
What has been your most memorable moment during high school at Martinsville ISD?
My most memorable moments were the two years that we advanced to state in cross country as a team, and the trips to Round Rock to watch Jhon run the next two years.
What clubs/activities/sports have you been involved in?
I have been involved in several sports such as baseball, cross country, track, and golf. I have also been a member of student council and CIA, as well as being the Vice-President and President of National Honor Society and Senior Class President.
What are your plans after graduation?
I plan to attend Texas A&M University and obtain a degree in Geographic Information Systems and Technology.
Who in your life would you like to thank for helping you get this far?
I would like to thank my mother for enduring 3 long years of teaching her favorite son. I would also like to thank Mrs. Roni for going out of her way every single day to help others.

Recently, Ryder Dillard and Jaxson McNutt both advanced to state for Junior High Rodeo.
Jaxson is Reserve Bareback Champion and
Ryder is Team Roping Heeler Champion, as well as qualifying in breakaway roping.
They will travel to Gonzales, TX later this month for their opportunity to advance to Nationals.
Way to go guys!
