Martinsville ISD has a district-wide student-to-teacher ratio of 12 to 1. This enables our students to have more one-on-one instruction with our teachers and helps our students achieve their full potential.

1:1 Computers/Hotspots, State-of-the-Art Classroom Technology, and Network Infrastructure

Martinsville ISD has made a concerted effort to be ahead of the curve with regards to putting technology in students' and teachers' hands to facilitate learning in a digital environment. Each child from PK-12 is issued a computer or tablet as well as a content filtered mobile hotspot to access our learning platforms from home. Each of our classrooms is equipped with flat-panel touch displays, which support student collaboration and sharing on the screen. Our classrooms also feature amplified sound to promote clear communication and camera technology to record lessons for remote instruction and remediation. Our network infrastructure exceeds standards for bandwidth per student and performs well to allow our students access to the information they need in the most efficient manner possible.
