JH/HS Principal

Thanks for coming to my webpage. Along with the traditional newsletter, I also would like to invite you to check our a blog I am excited about beginning as we chronicle the "story" of Martinsville Secondary Schools.

About me:

I am originally from Timpson, Texas, where I graduated high school in 2001. I have worked in education since 2005 where I began my career in Tenaha ISD. I have since taught 4th grade and 6th grade reading at Broaddus ISD; 6th grade reading at Huntington ISD; Elementary Assistant Principal at Diboll ISD; Elementary Principal at Garrison ISD.

I have four daughters: Graycie, Carrington, Stella and Willow. My wife Pam is also an educator. She teaches kindergarten here at MISD.

I enjoy working with the faculty and staff of MISD and seeing our students and community grow!.

Professional Beliefs:
I believe that as a team, we as educators of MISD, paired with a common goal, vision and belief CAN DO what it takes for our students to be future-ready learners equipped with the skills needed to be lifelong learners.

I believe in the Three R's - Respect for Authority. Regard for Others. Responsibility for Self.
